What’s included in each box?

Every box we pack includes a special toy for your dog, a yummy treat, sometimes even a surprise or two, and a little present for you. This could be something like a dog walking belt for those days you have your hands full, or a soft warm tuque to keep you head warm while your pup plays in the snow. Purchase a 6-month or 12-month subscription and you’ll also find a special surprise in the box every month! Every item is handpicked by Carolyn and her Canine Social Company team.

What if I don’t want the gift for me every month?

If you’d rather only get toys and treats for your dog to enjoy, just choose the ‘With Love to my Dog’’ option when you sign up.

Are the treats healthy?

Absolutely 100%! All our treats are sourced from Amber’s Barkery, an Oakville, Ontario all-natural pet bakery. Every treat is made from human grade ingredients so they’re good enough for you to eat as well.

What if my dog has allergies?

Let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions your dog may have when you sign up and we’ll adjust your box accordingly. If treats are a big no-no for your pup, let us know and we’ll substitute the treat with another item. 

Are your toys safe?

We only choose toys that we would choose for our own dogs. Our dogs deserve the best, and so do yours. That being said, dogs should always be monitored when playing with toys, especially plush toys.

Can I buy just one box or do I need to buy a subscription?

You have several options to choose from. You can choose to purchase a single care package or a unique birthday or gotcha celebration box, or sign up for a 6-month or 12-month subscription.

Why do you need to know my dog’s birthday (and my birthday)?

Birthdays should be celebrated! On those months, you’ll find an extra special gift in your box. But shhhhh…. it’s a surprise!

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Yes! If you sign up for a 6-month or 12-month subscription box, it will automatically renew at the end of the term for the same term that was in place. If you’d like to cancel at the end of a term, simply contact us.

We just signed up! When will we get our first box?

We’re so happy you joined our growing pack! If you ordered a monthly subscription, boxes are packed with love just before the first of every month. If you ordered a single box, it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process, pack and ship your package.  

What if I want to cancel my subscription?

A 6-month or 12-month subscription can only be cancelled upon term completion. To cancel your subscription, simply contact us.

I’m going away, can I paws my subscription?

No problem! If you’re going to be away, simply bark at us and we’ll press pause on your delivery.

Can I send someone a subscription?

Absolutely! Who doesn’t like getting gifts? Just like signing up you and your pup, you can gift someone a single box, a 6-month or 12-month subscription.

What information do I need if I am giving a gift?

You’ll need the person’s name and mailing address, their dog’s size (as the toys we choose are appropriate for a dog’s size), and whether the dog has any allergies or food restrictions. You’ll also, if possible, need the person’s birthday month and dog’s birthday month (so that, those months, we can add an extra special gift).

Is shipping included in the cost?

No, shipping is an extra $9.99.

Where do you ship?

We ship across Canada. At this time, we do not ship internationally. If you’re nearby, feel free to choose the pickup option at The Canine Social Company to save on shipping costs.

What happens if my box is damaged when it arrives?

We make every effort to pack your box carefully. But unfortunately, sometimes when you ship across country, things can happen. Please contact us right away if the contents of your box arrive damaged so that we can make it right.
